目前为国际华人计算力学协会(ICACM)理事、中国计算力学专业委员会特邀委员、无网格与粒子类方法专业组委员、计算爆炸力学专业组委员以及南方计算力学联络委员会委员。多次受邀参加国际、国内学术会议并作大会报告、邀请报告,作为大会组委会副主席、秘书长或分会场主席组织多次国际、国内学术会议。担任国际期刊《International Journal of Novel Ideas: Computational Methodology》编委。国家自然科学基金通讯评审员。多个国际、国内核心期刊审稿人。

科研项目

主持包括国防“973”子项目、军民融合项目、装备预研基金项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目、国家自然科学基金青年基金项目等在内的多项国家级课题以及企业横向课题。2009至2013年期间,作为技术主管负责国防“973”项目(湖南大学为总体单位)的实施和管理,该项目研究成果获得了军方有关单位的认可。另外,作为主要研究人员,参与了国家重点基础研究发展计划(国家“973”计划)、国家基金委创新群体项目、国家杰出青年基金、“十一五”国防基础科研重点项目、总装备部预先研究项目、教育部国防基础研究项目等多项课题。

学术成果

在“Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering”、“Journal of Computational Physics”、“International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering”、“International Journal of Impact Engineering”、“Composites Science and Technology”、“Composite Structures”和“Ceramics International”等国际、国内核心期刊上发表科研论文80余篇,其中SCI论文50余篇;撰写国防报告多篇;授权和申请国家发明专利6项;授权计算机软件著作权3项。获得2009年湖南省国防科学技术进步二等奖和2010年湖南省自然科学三等奖。2015年获得第三届杜庆华工程计算方法优秀青年学者奖。2016年获得湖南省杰出青年基金项目资助。2017年获得湖南省研究生思想政治教育研究会优秀案例奖。
